The all-new Toyota FJ Cruiser Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is the second Toyota to be fitted with NXT technology, following the Estima's introduction in Japan in January. As well as its retro styling, the striking SUV is differentiated from its rivals by its NXT-equipped roof liner speaker system.
The rugged, purpose-built off-road FJ Cruiser took its style inspiration and characteristic grille design from the iconic Toyota FJ40 4x4 vehicles lauched over 40 years ago. The affordable vehicle was built to allow people to go anywhere and do anything, being capable and durable as well as youthful and fun-to-drive.
Driven by a 4.0L V6 24-valve engine, it can be specified with either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. Cabin equipment specifications are determined at the dealer when ordering but all vehicles come standard with wipe-clean water-resistant seats and rubber flooring, underlining its design for active outdoor lifestyles.
The NXT-based roof liner loudspeaker system works in tandem with the FJ Cruiser's conventional speakers to create a truly impressive audio performance that fills the cabin with a rich, clear sound. |
