Latest NXT-based Advent PC speakers in stores

These next generation PC speakers, designed for travellers to use with smaller size laptops and netbooks are the latest NXT-based speakers in the ADVENT family and join the popular 2.1 desktop PC speaker systems currently in the range.

 

Soundbar PC Speaker

 

Available from PC World, Currys and other DSGi plc retailers, the SoundBar is an all-in-one lightweight audio solution for notebooks with screen sizes up to 15”.  The stereo speaker system is designed to be positioned on top of the notebook screen, with a foldable clip to keep it neatly in place.  Ideal for playing back music, movies, or for use with voice-over-IP utilities, the SoundBar produces an even, natural sound quality and connects to a USB port for both power and audio streaming.

NXT SurfaceSound technology ensures a slim, lightweight design while delivering high quality audio to instantly upgrade the performance of most notebook computers.  Finished in a smart satin black with gloss black metal speaker grille, the USB SoundBar is available in stores and online now, priced around £24.99.

 

Clip-on Speaker System

 

Aimed at smaller notebooks and netbook computers, the Clip-on PC speakers is perfect for the popular 8” – 10” screen size computers, which are typically fitted with tiny, low power speakers.  The NXT-equipped compact clip-on speakers provide netbook users with a high quality audio upgrade to enhance music, movies and multimedia content without adding bulk or complexity meaning they are ideal for travel.

 

Attached to the netbook’s screen bezel either side of the screen itself, the Clip-on speakers are powered by USB and receive an audio signal via a standard 3.5mm mini plug enabling connection to other audio sources such as iPods, MP3 players and mobile phones.  Wide stereo with crisp detail is delivered courtesy of NXT’s award-winning SurfaceSound technology which also keeps the speaker footprint to a minimum.

 

ADVENT Clip-on PC Speaker System
